We offer free shipping but with a few minor exceptions.
Free shipping is offered on just about every single order when your order reaches $149.00 USD and are shipping to the continental 48 states within the USA. We say just about every single order because there are exceptions. Some exceptions are based on product type and some are based on brand.
We try to disclose any shipping rule exceptions at the product level but in case it's not there, just know that if the item is not showing free shipping for what normally would be, it's usually for one of two reasons.
- The item is too heavy, too large, or both, to ship using a standard shipping service.
- The brand of the item simply does not allow free shipping to be used with their products. If a brand does not allow free shipping, it is simply a way for them to protect the perceived value of the product and to eliminate retailers getting a little too creative with how they can market a product unfairly compared to other competitors.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide free shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or any other US Territory for the same reason we can't ship free to international destinations. The cost is simply too much for us to cover.
At this time, here are the current free shipping exceptions, not related to destination.
- Short Blocks and Long Blocks - These are typically shipped in crates using a Freight shipping method which costs a significant amount more money than a standard service like UPS Ground or FedEx Ground.
- WeatherTech - This brand does not allow free shipping. They don't have a shipping rate requirement, but they do not allow it to be free or significantly less than a reasonably priced shipment.
- KW Suspensions/ST Suspensions - This brand requires every retailer to apply an additional fee of $195 USD as the flat shipping rate for larger items, mainly coilover and suspension kits. Some items require a lower flat shipping rate but all items cannot have free shipping applied. KW/ST allows us to use a higher price by the same value if we choose to offer "free shipping". Either way, the item has a surcharge for shipping applied that is required by the manufacturer.
- Seibon/Anderson Composites - This brand ships many of their items directly on behalf of retailers due to the size and nature of the carbon fiber based products. They apply a flat shipping rate based on a larger item or a smaller item. Although our fee might not be as much as theirs is, it is still built into our site and will appear at checkout.
- Other brands/products could require additional shipping related costs at any time and we'll do our best to update this page as requirements change.
International Shipments
We do not offer free shipping anywhere outside of the continental United States. The shipping costs are simply too high to include in the price of our products. However, we do pass along lower shipping rates that we have negotiated with our shipping partners and try to quote as accurate as possible when obtaining a shipping quote on our site. If you feel the costs are way too high, they might be! Every once in a while, a large amount of items causes the shipping cost to go completely and unreasonably out of control to an international destination based on how online quoting uses the data to quote your shipment.
